1. General English Summer Course

ELEAgency’s associate Schools and Colleges offer a variety of English Language Summer Courses. Usually 5 weeks in duration the courses consist of 15 hours a week (3 hours a day) of language development classes.

You may add to this by choosing an additional specialist subject from a broad range of interesting topics. The availability of specialist subjects will depend on the chosen school or college, the student numbers and your level of English. These classes are usually an additional 5 hours a week and can be:

2. General English

General English courses are held throughout the year at associate colleges and schools and normally coincide with internationally recognized semester timetables. These are 15 hours a week with the ability to add specialist subjects in the same manner as the Summer Courses set out above.

General English Courses are also available during Ramadan and the two week January mid semester break.

Booking early is strongly recommended to obtain the course and date of your choice.

3. Business English

English is the global language of communication in the business world. ELEAgency's associate Schools and Colleges have many years of experience in helping business people and professionals communicate successfully in English.

Focusing on business language for meetings, negotiations and presentations through effective learning techniques you will develop your abilities to liaise confidently with customers and suppliers in English. You will also learn about cross cultural issues, important for working with customers and partners of different nationalities.

4. IELTS Preparation

IELTS consists of two modules – Academic and General Training.

  1. The Academic Module is one of the most widely recognized language tests for university entrance in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
  2. The General Training Module is designed to ensure basic English in a broad social and educational context. This module is suitable for candidates who are going to English speaking countries to complete their secondary education, to undertake work experience or training programmes not at degree level.

FCE, CAE and CPE - CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATIONS

First Certificate (FCE) is designed for intermediate students; Cambridge Advanced (CAE) and Cambridge Proficiency (CPE) are designed for advanced students.

These courses are suitable for students who want a structured corses and an internationally recognized qualification.

Preparation for the IELTS and Cambridge Examinations are available through our associates often in conjunction with the General English Courses and the Summer Courses. Both IELTS and  Cambridge examinations are carried out at centres throughout the UK.

5. Teacher Training Courses (including TEFL Courses)

ELEAgency's associates run courses for Primary Teachers, Secondary/Tertiary Teachers and Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (CELTA/DELTA)

Primary School Teachers

The courses are aimed at practising teachers of English working at primary school level (children aged 5 -12). They are designed to improve your competence with English and teach you new techniques to use with your students.

Secondary/Tertiary Teachers

Participants will already be experienced teachers of English working with secondary or adult students. The course aims to liven up your teaching and help your students be more creative in English through the use of language games, art and drawing, music and songs, storytelling and drama techniques to name just a few.

Teaching English as a Foreign Language

The Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and the Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA) are ideal for those wishing to become a teacher of English as a foreign language or to advace their career. CELTA is the most widely recognized qualification for new English Teachers. DELTA offers a more flexible programme in a modular format at a higher level.

6. University Foundation

Many of our associate Schools and Colleges run University Foundation Programmes ideal for students considering studying at a British university. They are highly structured courses often covering an academic year of some 30 – 36 weeks (usually including a 2 week holiday). The courses provide a qualification equivalent to A-levels and prepare students for university courses such as business administration, marketing, finance and accounting, and tourism and hotel management.
